We provide access to highly qualified, vetted teachers to help you on your language journey. We do not intend to replace other modes of learning, but feel that instruction with a quality instructor is an important component of any language learning strategy.
After the teacher accepts you as a student and you accept the teacher's proposal, your teacher's email and preferred communications instructions will be provided to you using the email you used to register your account.
After you and your teacher connect, your teacher will let you know their payment terms and preferred payment methods. Payments for classes are handled directly between teachers and students. Find My Teacher is not involved in payments between students and teachers.
Different teachers have different preferred channels for teaching. Some prefer to teach "in-person" while others prefer online lessons. You can specify your preferences when searching for your teacher. Our teachers are experienced with handling teaching through different modes of communication.
It costs the student nothing to search for a teacher. If you find a teacher you like, there is a $10.00 USD yearly subscription fee to be able to contact your teacher through our service. You can come back and search for as many teachers as often as you want for your yearly subscription fee.
No. While sharing of accounts is not allowed, with a single subscription, you can search for and find a teacher or different teachers for each of your children. There is no need to register or pay a separate subscription fee for a more than one child in a single household.
We are creating a community for teachers to be able to grow and develop your business without having to lose so much of your hard earned pay to intermediaries and go-betweens. Remove your barriers. Grow and develop your teaching business your way.
You will need to register and provide some basic information to verify your identity and your teaching credentials. We also verify that you have basic lesson materials during the verification process. You will be asked to provide a photo of your government id, teaching certificate or credentials, and one but no more than two pages of your class materials for verification.
You will need to work out your payment method and payment terms with your student prior to your first lesson. Find My Language Teacher does not want to get involved in the payments between teachers and students to provide greater flexibility to our teachers and to also ensure students and teacher have full transparency through all transactions.
There are no minimum requirements for teachers. You are welcome to make as much time available as you are comfortable for students.
Find My Teacher is free for teachers. We believe teachers are undervalued and we want to provide better options for teachers to find students and deliver value to our world.
